Shimizu stages French contestant in one of his photographic artworks

We are excited to announce that Jiro Shimizu was invited to stage the French contestant for the Eurovision Song Contest in one of his photographic artworks – as a gift from Austria to France!

TELEVISION PREMIER

(before France’s performance)
ORF 1 or any other national public broadcaster of 39 European participating countries and Australian broadcaster SBS

The finished artwork, as well as an insight in Jiro Shimizu’s work on set, will be presented at the Eurovision Song Contest Final on the 23rd of May 2015!

Beside Lisa Angell and Jiro Shimizu, you will get an exclusive peek behind the scenes of Shimizu’s characteristic and elaborately staged work on set.
Shooting location was the historical Imperial Kaiservilla in Bad Ischl, the former Emperor’s summer residence.
